The spot for the Game Gear power LED was far out of alignment. Had to modify the Game Gear shell and adjust the light position via soldering on the mainboard in order to line the LED up so that it would look okay. I would not consider this a drop in replacement for this reason. If you're willing to do the modifications though the outcome is reasonable, but you may want to look elsewhere to avoid doing extra work.

Turned a scratched screen into a brand new-looking one! It doesn't quite line up with the power LED, but that might be more of an installation issue than a design/manufacturing issue.

It did not fit perfectly like the original.
