Most Euro-manufactured N-scale (and other?) locos come with rubber traction tires installed. Over time, those tires dry out, harden, get fouled by track grime, etc. and become ineffective. You can remove the old tires and replace them with Snot and the locos will pull like new again. If you have a loco with no traction tires, apply Snot, then pull heavier trains!

He offered a refund, which I have now declined since I already ordered a DCC decoder.
