The item was shipped and received in promised time. The steering cylinder is very similar to the seastar unit and was installed using the existing seastar hardware already inplace. I installed the cylinder without any major problems. The cylinder so far is working as expected in a tandem application with an existing seastar as the other cylinder. Only been inplace a few weeks but working as expected.

    Good value

    Although I haven't put it into service yet I just installed it. The quality seems to be good however because it's designed to fit several different motors the arms that connect the pilot tube to the steering ram seemed a little too short for my application. Installed on a 2012 Yamaha 300. They give you a bunch of spacers in the kit but it kind of looked a little hokey. Other than that seems like a decent value for fair quality.
