Best Option for Replacing Blown Amp on SRM450 V1 Active

I never write reviews but I love this so much. I had the amp blow on my SRM 450 V1 Active so I replaced it with this. Install is stupid easy. Literally unbolt amp, swap wires and re-bolt. Shipping was really fast. The Digital Processor give you so much flexibility. I think I'm going to swap the amp on my working srm450 to this since it is sounds so much better.

  • Good value replacement for my SRM450 V1 speakers.

Simple to install on my srm-450 v1 (took about 1 minute.) Sounds pretty good. It's less harsh in the highs than the original. Certainly a much different sound than the original class A amp, as one would expect. Not quite the dynamics and clarity, but also none of the hassles. The DSP controls are pretty limited, and I don't like how the knobs for the input, control the passthrough volume (though i imagine some people would find this useful for their application) All in all, I think I'll be getting more to replace the amp units in my 18 year old srm-450s, as lots of them are starting to fail on me. I'd tried having them fixed, but this seems like the better optino.

  • Excellent Option For Resurrecting Dead Mackie SRM450s

This unit is an excellent option for resurrecting dead Mackie SRM450s. I wish I knew about this before I took it to the repair shop! Most electronics repair shops don’t actually spend time troubleshooting our busted gear. I confirmed this today with a very highly respected shop in a major city. It’s just not cost effective for them to do this. Once they do a few basic tests with a multimeter and confirm that it’s defective, the immediate go to solution is to replace the entire thing with a new one. Add to that labor, and you’re easily paying twice what the Lase unit costs. If you’re handy with a screwdriver, that’s all you need. Ten minutes tops and you’re back to rocking out.

  • Great replacement

All you have to do is remove a handful of screws reinstall and set it up and you're back up and running, that simple. in my opinion this module is much better than the original I am considering purchasing a second for the other Mackie I have in case it goes out as this one has. Offers gain control on mid low and high and different settings. Great buy in my opinion this one over does the original by a long shot and offers more output as well keep them coming boys you're doing well

  • LASE Replacement SRM450

Very easy to replace. Just unscrew pull two wires, plug in the two new wires and screw back on!!! The sound quality was very good. Put them up next to my V2 Mackie's and they were very impressive with more user controls. Like them so well I will be keeping my eyes peeled for some used Mackie 450's that need repair for cheap replacements.
