This second feature-length film based in the STARGATE SG-1 universe, a follow-up to STARGATE: THE ARK THE TRUTH, finds the SG-1 crew attending the execution of the nefarious Ba'al, the supposed final System Lord of the galaxies-spanning dominant alien race Goa'uld. When Teal'c and Vala suddenly evaporate into thin air, however, the rest of the crew heads back to Earth as quickly as possible in hopes to get to the bottom of their bizarre disappearances. What they find is worse than they could have ever imagined. A world in which the Stargate was never discovered awaits them, thus negating much of their own history and personal pasts. Before they can convince the military that not only did this time-tampering occur, but that it is the handiwork of Ba'al, hundreds of Go'uld ships line Earth's orbit. It's up to Maj. Gen. Jack O'Neill (MACGYVER's Richard Dean Anderson) and the rest of crew to set things right before Ba'al conquers the world in this thrilling time-travel adventure featuring a cadre of beloved characters.

    Stargate Fans Rejoice

    Stargate fans finally got a full length motion picture to follow up the series on SCI-FI. Starring Richard Dean Anderson and many of the cast from the series (Not the original Series). This movie is a Stargate fans dream. I will not go into details of what happens in the movie, watch it and enjoy it yourself for those details. However the movie starts out slowly (like most movies, in my opinion) and slowly draws your attention and captures your interest all the way to the end. (With a few bumps along the way) Full of adventure and packed with special effects that every sci-fi fan will love. This is a must see for Stargate fans, and is highly recommended for anyone who loves Sci-Fi movies.

    this is an excellent addition to any Stargate fan's collection. is a great companion to the original Stargate movie and Ark of Truth. helps tie in the gaps between the Ga'ould and the Ori. A must have for any Stargate fan

    Fabulous! SG1 is Back and Better than ever!

    Wow! It is wonderful to have Jackson, Carter, Teal'c, Cam, Vala and Jack back in action and better than ever. This is truly a FABULOUS movie and I can't wait to see more of these movies. Hopefully they will make more soon. One of the things I liked in this movie was Vala. Her character in this movie was better than the T.V. show. They should have left her a villian! I loved that Jack was back! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! That was awesome. Sadly, there was not enough about Teal'c and Jackson in this movie. I think they could have shown more of the two of them. Cam and Carter's parts were tremendous....just needed more of Teal'c and Daniel in the scene's. Still....who doesn't love the ending! What a Great Show!

    long waited

    Baal travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from ever being started. SG-1 team must somehow restore history and once again save the galaxy from oppressive domination. Gonna be one of the best dvd out this year!!

    This is a good one...Stargate: Continuum (2008, DVD)

    Very different than the Ark of Thruth, this one feels like a movie with a earth invasion scenario. Great stuff... espcially if you have seen Stargate and know the actors.
