      I have not tried it yet. Hope it is safe to use in my house.

      Hope it will be safe to use in my house! I went through last winter with 2 small box type electric heaters and had to wear a coat in the house part of the time. Hoping this heater will. take the chill off so my smaller ones can keep up!

      It puts out heat but does not cycle on & off

      What works ? It puts out heat ! What doesn't work is the fact that it does not (cycle) on & off like a heater should ...... IT runs all the time and i mean all the time ! By that i mean you are able to turn down the temperature but that's it ! it runs constantly and does not shut off unless you physically turn the switch off ....... My other heater once the garage reached the set temp it would automatically shut off until it needed to come back on again and so on all thru the nite thus saving me money on the electric bill because the temp stayed current ! That being said once i get my other heater repaired I will be putting it back in service and the (dura heat) I will put it away. For this feature alone not cycling on & off is why i gave it only 3-stars.

      Thermostat does NOT shut off fan when setting is reached.

      Good unit, seems to be built of good quality. The thermostat does not shut off the fan, only the heat tube. I was looking for something that would shut off completely when the set temp is obtained.

      Great product

      My workshop is just a little over 600 sq. feet and this thing heats it up quickly. Make sure you understand that it runs off 220 and not 100!

      Not impressed!

      My 1500 watt 110 volt heater puts out more heat and makes much less noise.. Don't waste your money on this heater.
