Each C3850-NM-2-10g network module from Cisco provides support for a number of different connectivity options. These modules provide an expansion port jack for those who need to hook up external hardware. Support for both WAN and LAN interfaces is built right into the module. You can also use these units for voice interface connections without any modification. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks are installed alongside SFP hookups in the back, making it easy to add onto existing networks.
