Created by former marine biologist Stephen Hillenburg, Nickelodeon's hugely popular cartoon series SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS chronicles the wacky adventures of an overly enthusiastic sea sponge and his oceanic pals in the underwater town of Bikini Bottom. Living in a pineapple home with his meowing, catlike pet snail, Gary, the fry-cook sponge (inimitably voiced by Tom Kenny) happily flips Krabby Patties at a fast food restaurant owned by the moneygrubbing Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown)--that is, when he's not engaging in nautical nonsense with his dimwitted starfish friend, Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke); annoying his tentacled and perennially grouchy neighbor and coworker, Squidward (Rodger Bumpass); visiting the displaced Texan squirrel, Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence); or fending off the megalomanic plans of the evil protozoan, Plankton (Doug Lawrence). Employing a vibrantly colorful animation style that bears the distinct influence of REN & STIMPY, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS has become a veritable pop-culture phenomenon that appeals to children and adults alike with its wholesome, yet slyly subversive, brand of goofy humor (as well as an impossibly catchy theme song).     I absolutely love this.

    I completely adore SpongeBob in general, but this experience has left me completely satisfied. It arrived way earlier than expected, it's in great condition, it plays well on my laptop, the sound is perfect, and I love how it doesn't randomly stop playing. Well done. Highly recommend.

    Spongebob Squarepants-The Complete 2nd Season

    There's nothing like the 'original' writing flair associated with the early years of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, before it all got (excuse the pun) "watered-down for kids". The first 3 years of SPONGEBOB are entertaining for both adults and kids -- with humor targetting adults in subliminal ways only 'they' can understand--yet appealing to kids without overstepping the boundaries of appropriateness and good taste. Similar to the original 'Looney Tunes' which had similar appeals. Highly recommended, always entertaining no matter how many times you see the episodes -- from "Grandma's Kisses" on DISC 1 to "Sailor Mouth" (my personal favorite!) on DISC 3 -- SPONGEBOB 2ND SEASON will have you drowning in laughter! (Nothing at all like the-yikes!-dull Spongebob of today... don't bother!)

    Spongebob Squarepants season 2

    I only have season one, but if season 2 is anything like season 1 then it is a very great cartoon series. The episodes are funny, and enjoyable. The different expressions on each different character is what makes Spongebob Squarepants lovable! And it's a very good cartoon series, Spongebob is ever the optomistic type, never having himself get down. That's why I love this show!

    Spongebob Squarepantss-2nd Season

    Hilarious episodes to watch with the whole family, adults included! My whole family enjoys the shows, from 6 years old to 40+ years old! Touches on issues we all have dealt with at one point or another... but is dealt with on a raw, unmasked level of simplistic feelings and emotions which makes us all laugh because we've felt this way before on some level, only we try to veil it! Spongebob characters seem to overreact to everything that causes them upset and hide nothing, and/but we just try to hide our feelings most of the time when we feel the way Spongebob does! We love Spongebob for his simple approach to life... let it all hang out!
