    Canon EF 70-210mm f1:4 Zoom Macro Lens Review

    One of the first Auto Focus lenses from Canon in the EF line. I purhcased this lens for the range and was more than pleased with the performance. Don't get me wrong this is not an L lens and it doesn't pretend to be. The barrel turns when you manually focus, they are dust collectors and at this stage in the game they are almost 25 years old, so they are have age complaints. All that being said they can be purchased very economically on ebay and if you happen upon one in good shape the performance is well worth the time and money. PS. You can usually tell if it is in good shape by looking for the Gold coloured "Passed" tag canon use to affix to it's lenses. If the tag is there it is usually an indication of a lens that has been well cared for.
