Not as described. With AE jeans, patched and stitches generally means the rips are patched and reinforced with outer stitching, normally quite a lot of stitching. I did not find that to be the case with these jeans, regarding the stitching. Regarding patches, there are two gaping rips/holes in the very front abdominal area on each side of the zipper, NO patches, where my underwear would surely be visible. I'm 64, and that's just not desirable. There is also a very unpleasant odor to them.

I’m sorry you are unhappy with your purchase. When listing the item, I used the description of the jeans directly from the American Eagle website, and the holes/patches of the jeans clearly showed in the product listing photos.
