A classic for your DVD library to entertain children and encourage reading
Everyone loves a puppy. Wishbone originally appeared on PBS television and was aimed at encouraging literacy through the eyes and experience of a well acted jack russell terrier and the accompanying voice over. The 25 minute episode features a conflict or problem and Wishbone settles for a rest, and his imagination adapts a literary classic like "Robin Hood" as the "Paw Prints of Thieves" and we see our favorite little dog in costume for the story adaptation. Children of all ages will love revisiting these classics again and again. this DVD has 4 episodes "Paw Prints of Thieves", "Hot Diggety Dawg", "The Impawssible Dream", and "Hunchdog of Notre Dame".Everyone loves a puppy. LOVE this Series
I watched these myself several years ago and loved them. I bought this DVD for grandchildren for Christmas. I would have loved to give the entire series but is way too expensive for my budget.

One of the best series on PBS EVER!!!
Bought this DVD for two little kids that live down the street from me who have a Jack Russel Terrior like Wishbone. I remember the series from a few years ago and even tho I am now pushing 70, I loved that series!! So just bought it for the children and gave it to them. I got the nicest thankyou note from them. I wish there were more episodes like this avaliable on DVD.

Great dvd for the Family!
Wishbone is such a cute show, It was on in the 90's. I was very happy to find it on dvd. There are four episodes on this dvd, there great! I just wish there were even more episodes! This is a very good product and I am glad I get to watch wishbone again!
