Product Information

As NBA Live moves into its "2005" season, the gameplay above the rim takes center stage. The game's new "Freestyle Air" features allow gamers to take control of their NBA players in mid-flight, to block shots, score tip-in rebounds, and perform stylish dunks. The last ability helps support the game's new "All-Star Weekend" mode, which allows players to take part in a virtual re-creation of the league's annual, mid-season celebration, which is highlighted by the slam-dunk contest and three-point shot competition. Offering far more than a weekend of stunts and tricks, however, NBA Live still presents a full-featured simulation of the entire NBA season, or even as many as 25 seasons, in the returning Dynasty Mode. Gamers who decide to take complete control of their teams in this mode will manage a great variety of franchise functions, from game plans and scheduling to salary requirements and trades. One of the sport's most famous announcers, Marv Albert, resumes his place behind the NBA Live mic, joined by his regular play-calling partner, Mike Fratello. All-Star Weekend events are called by TNT's Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith.

    NBA Live 05 - A Step Back

    This game is okay but lacks substance compared to it's predecessor Live 04. The players on the bench don't move, the lighting I think is litterally "off". The gameplay isn't as smooth either. The animations are new and fresh but Live 2004 though the player models aren't as accurate the motion captured animations were much more believable than Live 05's. The basic interface such as the starting menus give me the feeling somethings missing(while 04 looked like it had everything an NBA fan could want in a simulation). It seems that they put all their energies toward the all-Star Weekend features which real basketball fans will play much less often than the actual games like regular season games. I wanted it to be a step up from 2004 with the addition of all-star weekend but the gameplay is a ...

    NBA live 2005[ gamecube]

    I decided to buy this game because my daughter likes playing basketball. My daughter likes the play now mode and the NBA store thing or trophy room. My daughter doesn't like the slam dunk contest because she can't work it even though she read the directions. Also because you were the only one that was selling this game without ripping someone off with a high price so I would buy more games from you and if they were cheap.

    poor game

    GAME WAS NOT REAL ENOUGH ...POOR GRAFIX ..NOT ENOUGH THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR PLAYERS..CANT BUILD TEAMS..NOT LIKE THE REAL NBA..I WAS HOPING FOR MORE REAL LIFE NBA ACTION IN STEAD I GOT A POORLY DESIGNED COPY/..I KNOW ITS JUST A GAME BUT WAS REALLY HOPING FOR MORE ..MY SON TRADED IT AFTER ONLY 3 DAYS ..WASTE OFF MY MONEY..

    Game is good . I don't know what you are talking about.

    This is one of my favorite games, I think there is good grafix I have no IDEA what you are talking about. You can do awesome dunks and have fun with diffrent teams and stuff like that.

    good game bad gaphics

    This is a great game but I was not impressed whis the graphics. it's fun but if you look for graphics than DON'T buy this game
