First person mention the modem only worked with internet, but the phone optimum service does not work with this modem. I e-mailed with seller’s support and they gave me the correct advise and I called back optimum tech support. I provided info received and the second optimum tech person was able to connect both internet and phone. Works perfectly and a good upgrade from the arris 1602a I had from optimum.

Packaging was secure, and delivery was fast. I called Optimum, advised about the change of equipment and provided the CMAC address of the new modem. Modem was activated quickly and I'm thrilled with the speed improvement! Using an older TM822 modem, I was getting about 50Mbps. With this new TM3402A, I'm now getting about 300Mbps (I'm subscribed for 300Mpbs service). Thanks for fast service and delivery!
