One of my favorite romantic, family movies by Hallmark
I like the characters in this movie and the story. I subscribe to the Hallmark Channel and sometimes it seems like they recycle the same old plots over and over again. This movie is about wild horses and sisters. It was a nice change of pace. I really enjoyed it.

Thicker than water
This was a good and believeable story. It brought out the Cowboy in Me, I've always had this thing about Horses and Rodeo's and the performers lives. Mostly it was the horses Ms.Gilbert was good as she usually is, in what ever she does. I watched it and bought it because of Linnsay Wagner I still think of her in the show the Six Million Dollar Man. Regardless what your reason is for buying this movie it will give you enjoyment for years to come. I hope that one day other studio's will start making other movies such as this one. So my advice is to buy it, rent it or whatever, Just get out the popcorn put your feet up and watch it with someone you Love.This was a good and believeable story. Movie for the family - all ages.
What is good about this movie is a plot that would entertain and interest all viewers. I found myself wishing it had happened to me - flawless characters, values that matter and the sister you always wanted. 5 star .

It's hard to find movies these days that are good for most ages to watch. Thicker Than Water is one of those. It's a heartwarming story about family and life. Melissa Gilbert is the main character and as I find with most of her movies, perfect for the role. Brian Wimer plays the male lead role and I remember him from the tv series China Beach. I first saw this movie on the Hallmark Channel. I was pleased to find it available on dvd. You can harldy go wrong with a movie that's been brought to tv by Hallmark. Love of sisters, self, horses
I am not much for watching romances, but I found myself watching this one time and again. I even talked my husband into taking me into the part of Southern California that this movie is about, just to get more of the feel of the movie. The characters were so interesting; especially with their passions for truth, for horses, for the meaning of family, and for love. I loved the resourcefulness of these gal characters,such as trading coveted shoes for workboots, swiping DNA, putting shoulders to the shovel with determination when they believed it would help someone else.
