Heart-Warming and Hilarious
Gerald Durrell's books, upon which the TV show "The Durrells in Corfu" is based, are hilarious, heart-warming, and extremely well-written. This is the third in the series, but they can actually be read in any order as they all have different stories about his family's adventures in Corfu and aren't necessarily chronological. These books are a must-read for animal-lovers, fans of the TV show, or those who always dreamed of escaping modern life for a lovely Greek isle. Durrell is one of the great natural history writers. You will not be disappointed with any of his books on Corfu, or any others for that matter. They are full of good humor and descriptive writing.

Third in the Series
All three books in The Corfu Trilogy are wonderfully entertaining and informative...I’ve read them all and wish there were more. What an educational experience for that family. I highly recommend them to everyone.
