Superb image and much less expensive than comparable TV
The set up menu on this Vizio is superior to all previous Smart TVs I have owned. Unlike my Vizio from 2012, streaming Netflix goes more smoothly as well as more reliably. I am thankful that the YouTube app is also included unlike the Rokio streaming device that I purchased recently. I chose to wall mount this model and the most difficult part was getting to the HDMI inputs as well as the optical audio out. I would recommend looking at the TV manual online and blowing up an image of the rear inputs to facilitate the 30 minutes or so of feeling around for the correct inputs. This is not an issue you if you opt to use the side inputs or if you were to use the sturdy aluminum legs to support it on a piece of furniture. Complex TV????
Two of the previous categories I could not answer. Does it have good image quality? YES, in HD. I have yet to view a program in the vaunted 4K presentation. Is it a good value? I don't know yet. Sure its a quality item. It does have pairing issues with my receiver, (Onkyo), even though it is designated for 4K. Thus I haven't been able to see 4K stuff. The TV itself is hard to navigate with its SO MANY features. Mind boggling all the tweaks you can put into this tv. Thus set up can take long if you do more than the Picture quality. So with that said, I am reserving the good value for the money vote. I may be blaming the TV for a receiver issue but... Worth The Price
To be honest, I was kind of weary going the refurbished route. But after my tv arrived and seeing its ondition I am very satisfied with my decision. The tv was double boxed. It was not in its original Vizio box, but Vipoutlet went through alot of effort to make sure it was boxed up securely to protect the tv. Besides the double box, there was also layers of bubble wrap inside to prevent the tv from moving around or being impacted from any rough treatment the outside box may have taken during its trip. The tv is in fine working order and I couldn't be more pleased.
