    ADULT PSYCHOTHERAPY TREATMENT PLANNER helpful

    I am a psychiatrist - that is, an MD with additional training in clinical interviewing, therapy styles, and psychopharmacology - and yet I like to try to make use of some of the more academic devices that psychologists routinely use in developing individualized treatment plans. The majority of my clinic consumers are 18 years of age and over and so this manual provides boilerplate outlines of how to proceed in intervention for my patients.

    Adult vs Adolescent vs Children

    This was a required text for one of my Masters in Counseling classes. It was for my Practicum class, to help me create treatment plans. While the book itself was good, make sure that you are wanting to work with Adults if you get this one! I am working with students in school, so I should have gotten the Adolescent or Children version...
