great little game that is more strategically complex than you might think
I owned this game for many years, but it was ruined when our dog decided to chow on the cards. I was looking for a replacement and found a reasonably priced version. The game is deceptively simple, but it actually quite challenging. It involves 'claiming' sections of the Great Wall of China through the strategic play of cards. One of the interesting parts of the game is that claiming points occurs at the beginning of your turn, so while your play may have won you the section (and points) you have to wait until your next turn to see if anyone decides to play over you in an attempt to claim the section (and points) for themselves. Defensively, you are often faced with a choice of wanting to block someone else's upcoming claim of a wall section (thus getting into a fight) or just let ...
