    Buy one of these if you need a Sony KHM-240AAA laser pickup

    As everyone knows, DVD players are now generally obsolete and have lost their value since Blu-Ray players are so good and so affordable. But a DVP-NS400D in good shape still has value as a parts donor: its laser pickup (KHM-240AAA) is the same as that in the DVP-NS900V, an an audiophile SACD player. That part is no longer available new from Sony.

    Sony DVD Player

    I love the fact that this machine is energy efficient. When you turn it off it is off. There is not red light to remind you that your are burning electricity. This is truly an energy efficient piece of equipment. I wish all manufacturers would make energy effiicient equipment.
