Love color & the wood. design is great, I have fine straight hair, medium length - barely touching shoulders. Stays in my hair when I twist hair into a small bun. Haven't tried running with it. From the inside of a prong to bottom pointed tip is 4.5 inches.
tallest top of the curved point to tip of the prong is 7 inches. Widest part is about 2 &1\4 inches. Narrowest is at the bottom tip 3/4 inch wide. Yet this is what I received, since its hand made it might be slightly different.
