Best choice for the basement musician
This little pedal is truly a perfect example of getting a great effect for a fraction of the higher priced versions. For some it might be ugly, but my wife thinks it's cute and I like it too. The sound is what you'd expect... but again, compared to higher priced pedals, well... there's no comparison in my honest opinion. It sounds amazing... and it's considered "cheap" ...but it sounds AMAZING. I did learn however, that it works best using batteries instead of a power supply, or daisy chain. Strange, as none of my other 'danelectro' pedals have this glitch... but, after going through 3 boutique style pedals that were over a hundred bucks, the Chili Dog smoked 'em all. Just what I wanted, gives it a nice thick sound.
I heard this and had to have one, works great with a sustain on too. I only use the top octave, one octave lower, the second is too deep.

Awesome. Awesome to the max. Gets sick lead tones up past the 12th fret and really thickens up riffs down low on the fretboard. Pair this baby up with a dope fuzz and you're in psychedelic wonderland, baby.
