There was a gooey slightly tacky amber substance all over the figure in thin films. Some areas were globbed on still. Seller tried to clean the figure before sending and they did well but I did have to clean up a bit, especially on the sandals but no harm done and no damage was found. That's all that matters tbh. Handling took almost a week but shipping was normal. Communication on the seller's part was superb and definitely recommend them still. Thank you!

That's the Plasticizer. I thought I got it all off, sorry about that. Here's a brief explanation.
The stickiness results from the plasticizer used during the manufacturing process. Plasticizers are combined with PVC to make it soft and flexible, allowing sculptors to create intricate figures. Over time, plasticizers naturally release from the figure.
