Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow DVD
My entire family loves the Barbie Fairytopia series. This one would be my least favorite of the three because it doesn't seem to teach as many good values as the others, but overall the entire series is great! My kids love watching them over and over and they aren't obnoxious to us as parents... a TOTAL bonus! We have actually fallen in love with all the Barbie movies we have seen so far: the 3 Fairytopia movies, Princess and the Pauper, and the Nutcracker. I think that the Barbie folks have done an exceptional job in putting hard-to-find moral values into their movies in a very entertaining and fresh way. Again, Barbie pulls it off. Who would have known many years ago that a doll would be the star of here own movies? My 9 year old just had to have this movie, after all she has most of the other Barbie movies. This Movie is a continuation (from what I can tell) of the Fairytopia movie. Just as brilliant as all her other movies, Barbie as Elina is a fairy apprentice. She needs to learn the Flight of Spring and create the 1st rainbow of the season. Ofcourse, Laverna tries to ruin it all. The fight brings together Elina and her new found friends. Go ahead travel with Barbie on her new adventure!!! It's ever girls dream. Nice movie
I bought this for my 4-yr old granddaughter, and she loves it. I really like the animation and color, and it teaches social skills and dealing with other people. I don't like the shows that have crude, mean, mannerless, or violent behavior, and this one doesn't. It does have the nice and not so nice characters, but it shows how to deal with them in a fantasy way so kids are entertained while learning. Even as an adult, I can watch this movie with my granddaughter without being bored to tears because it does have a little story line and isn't totally simple for young children.I bought this for my 4-yr old granddaughter, and she loves it.
