    Works for my needs / would buy if needed again.

    Well, it's faster than original memory for an old Dell Latitude D630 first release. Keep in mind you may have to disconnect and reconnect cmos/motherboard battery to get ram to be recognized. I had a moment of wtf, why doesn't it recognize my new ram. Plenty of youtube videos showing dell laptops how to install ram and other components. Definitely an improvement to have faster/larger capacity ram, however limited by bus cable speed. They only have yes or no for fast, so compared to original yes. Paired with t7800 cpu makes for a nice mobile browsing/light work pc. Upgrade drive to ssd or 7200 rpm drive, and it makes for a good refresh of an old system.
