      Well worth the investment...

I work mainly with stainless steel, and I need Cobalt bits so this set at it current price was well worth the investment, and I do mean investment. In the past year I have used this set on at least 30 different jobs, and the first job paid for the set. KNOCK ON WOOD here but to date I have not yet broken or stripped an extractor, and the bits are still cutting very well. When I eventually do need to replace a part of the kit I will most certainly purchase another set.

    • Top critical review

      Don't waste your $$$

Let me preface this review with I knew better, but I purchased this easy out set anyway. This is what we in the trade refer to as a "Mickey Mouse" tool. Actually, that may be a compliment for this product. I purchased it, against my better judgement mainly because of price, second because it had decent reviews. Could it be my bias opinion that quality is often synonymous with price? Possibly. So I decided to give it a try. My project was a broken exhaust stud in the manifold of my motorcycle. Broke both of the small bits in 2 minutes. Literally. Using slight pressure. Slow speed. Clutches set low on drill so as not to snap the bit if it catches. Didn't ever get a chance. They barely put a dent in the stud I was trying to remove before they snapped.

    • Nice Set and good price....

Nice little set for the price, with many size options. Only thing (which I understand).... is the tin metal case holder; kinda thin and so-so. Bits get stuck in open top face when closing, but set extractor bit set itself is nice.

    • Ok for mild jobs

The drill bits could be a bit better. It took me a minute drill a hole on a m6 bolt after this was accomplished removing the bolt was relatively easy, just don’t rush the extractor feel rather weak.

    • Extractors work. Drill bits do not.

Extractors worked fine but the drill bits would not cut. Dulled very quickly even with oil at low rpms. I bought this set specifically for the reverse drill bits but ended up having to use a conventional twist name brand bit that i already had.
