    Spring Is Weak

    Everything about the latch is good except the spring isn't strong enough to hold the ring horizontally to go through the slot in the door. To install the assembly, it is necessary to compress the spring slightly to remove the ring and re-install it. It appears that during this process the spring did not return to its' original compressive strength. Other than that, it is fine, but at almost $7.00 it is NOT a good value.

    Upgraded Latch Assembly- Great Value
