    Not Very Durable

    I'm a little disappointed with the jigsaw guide. I knew going in that it was made of plastic, but I was expecting something a little more solid. This is extremely lightweight, more like a cheap toy. I think if I drop it it will break. I only have a few small projects to work on so I suspect it will get me through. I certainly wouldn't want to rely on it if I were a contractor and had to use it a lot. On the other hand, it was so inexpensive that I could buy another one if needed. I suppose it's priced right and probably a good value for occasional use. However, if I were going to do it again, I would look for something a little more substantial.

    Surprisingly, this attachment is great.

    I bought this as an experiment. Since it is made out of plastic instead of metal, has no way to securely fasten my jigsaw to it. Then there's the fact that there is nothing like it made by anyone else. (Except in Europe, and it is wildly expensive. Glad I tried it out. It attaches to my Bora guide, and guides my jigsaw along the track for a straight line. Tried it on 4'x8' sheets of plywood, and was very pleased with the results.
