    It does fit a 2005 Dodge Ram 1509

    I want everyone too know it does fit a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. I had to line up the holes in the part on the second set of holes on the under carriage plate. It’s good to go!!!

    Product seems good, but not the correct size for my tire

    I was looking for a product that would fit into the same spot on my truck. This product appears to be correct, and it did fit but I ram into some problems. The tire ho9lder, the part at the bottom of the chain did not fit through the center hole of my spare tire. I have just recently installed it and so far it seems to do the trick. If you order one, be sure to check the hole size of the spare tire. I reserve the right to change my review afer using this for a period of time. More details should have been civen as to the dimensions of this product.

    Great Product for less than OEM price. Same quality!! Go for it..

    It was easy to install, it is very strong and you could not beat the price. I put it on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. Perfect fit!! Just WD40 the bolts and let it work for a day or so and they will loosen up with minimal effort. Just go easy... I never took pictures but if I did you would only see the tire... LOL

    Excellent Replacement for your rusty factory hoist

    Works as it should. The only real difference from the factory hoist is that this one doesn't go down as far as the original. Not really an issue, only an observation. Buy it if you need to replace your old one.

    Spare Tire Lift replacement for 05 Ram 1500

    Cost is 25 percent of a mopar replacement. Form and fit were perfect. Only time will determine quality since the spare tire lift is seldom used. The spare has not loosened from its up position after 2 weeks so the lift brake seems to work. While not a scheduled maintenance item, the lift should be removed and lubricated once a year, especially where roads are treated in the winter time.
