    pauls boutique was the beastie boys album that changed the rules, its cool.

    i regret not buying this album back in 89. i think it was because license to ill was it, and this one did not have the same upbeatness it had. "hey ladies" was the only track i remember hearing on the air waves. this is the album where they did less hip hop and more rock through out the entire length, maybe not all the length. the sound is good just not the same vibe as from license to ill. it's still a great recording over all, a must have to add in a cd collection. rest in peace to mca with a voice that stood out over all the rappers back in those days.
