Akai EWI USB
I wanted to use this instrument to play in live situations but we found out it is not well suited for that type of application, It is best as a standalone studio or practice tool. The Internal sounds are good and it plays well enough but cannot work as a controller to connect to a midi sound module. The user interfaces are not designed well enough to make changes quickly on-the-fly. A Great MIDI controller.
It's an outstanding MIDI controller when you need the specific nuances of a wind instrument (it's also great with strings emulations). It is easy for beginners to learn how to play and doesn't require embouchure tricks like standard woodwinds.
