    Okay, but pricey

    The one cat I bought it for (long-haired) enjoys it. She has a thick undercoat and she was always digging and pulling out horrible mats. It does pull somewhat and I feel I have to be careful. The 2 other cats I have tried it on didn't appreciate it very much. Their fur is mid length. It's ok, but not worth the price. I think I could have found something that works as well at a lower price. (The fur ejection part is nice!)

    Should have bought this years ago!!!

    I was hesitant to drop the money on a furminator because I thought there was no way it could be “that good”... but I finally broke down after multiple runs to he vet for a cat with “hairball blockages” and bought this one. It is fantastic! Those hartz “slicker bridges” and rake cobs and other gadgets DO NOT COME CLOSE to doing the job as well as the Furminator! I’m going to buy a second for my dog!!!!!

    GREAT!

    It is the BEST! Works great to remove the undercoat that makes the mats. After a short period of brushing, now my cats come to me and get up on my lap to get the SPA treatment. I recommended it to a friend with a large dog with dual coats, and both y friend and her dog LOVE IT. I highly recommend it!

    Great product!

    It is very good for shedding. Do not use it every day, shedding is not the same of brushing. I bought it for my two cats, they leave hairs every where. After changing the food and shedding them every week is better the situation. It's great for short hair pets. One of my cats is short hair and the other is long hair. With the short hair cat the shedding remove more hairs than with mi long hair cat. It is worth it for cats and dogs.
