I was hesitant of keeping this lock after, I watched a video in youTube that alleges it is a counterfeit. I did a bit more research and the claims made in the video are disputed, apparently there are variations from the different manufacturing locations over Europe and North America. Although, I remained hesitant about a dozen manufacturing plants may explain the variations. I also asked a trusted locksmith and he told me he saw no trouble. Still a good lock at a very reasonable price.
