Extremely good cutting saw, very light and ergonomical, what a value!
This is the factory refurb version, and it looked almost brand new. The bar and chain in fact were brand new. Started right up, was set just a tad rich maybe because I use a 30:1 mix. I have put it to fairly heavy use, mainly limbing, and it is an ideal saw for this. I was so impressed by the overall value that I just ordered a refurb 460/24 for the big stuff, and I will review that in the future. My venerable Stihl 028 now doesn't have to go it alone any more. This saw has good power. I thought the chain that came with the saw was horrible. I replaced it with a full chisel chain. It is a good value overall. Refurbished but looks new.

Great home chainsaw! Trees up to 18 inches diameter.
HV are good homeowner saw. I have sawed down a number of large hardwood trees with this saw. Amazingly powerful, if you keep the oil reservior full the blade sharp. Do not use any ethanol containing gasoline with these saws, only ethanol free premium mixed with oil, but well worth it as a trouble free saw when you need it. Added note- there appear to be two versions of this saw one from China with plastic parts everywhere (the chain adjustment slips) and the European version with metal part (like the brake cover, which I bought as replacement parts. Big difference in durability forget the plastic parts and go for the metal version.HV are good homeowner saw. I have sawed down a number of large hardwood trees with this saw. If you want a really good chainsaw but not a very big one this is a saw for you is more than capable of cutting logs and brush
I got the box I was pretty excited the chainsaw has a lot of power that was something I was worried about is more than capable of cutting firewood as long as the bar is it dices through would really easy really good chainsaw good quality Everything feels like it was made to get worked it's something that'll hold up for years
