Absolutely Outstanding Unit
This is one Smokin' little unit. I record my band with it regularly and it is amazing. It does EAT batteries like they were candy so the external power adapter is a must have item if you want to reord some serious video/audio footage, unless you want to bring a dozen AA's for a few hours of recording. The sound and picture quality is spectacular, but the better the quality of sound and picture that you preset the camera for also increases the size of the Video/Audio file. I would suggest investing in a 32gb Class 10 SD card and you'll be good to go for recording in HD video with better than CD Quality sound for at least 7 or more hours.This is one Smokin' little unit. I play the classical guitar and was looking for the recorder with video. As soon as I received it, I tried recording and the sound and screen quality satisfied me. also, the use of q3hd was quiet easy to handle for me. one thing I want the manufacturer to add something is the handyshare version to this recorder. some on-line club or blog limits the amount of the upload size, so if ZOOM add the size editing software to handyshare p/g, it would be much nicer to the users like me who are not good at editing or encording like me.I play the classical guitar and was looking for the recorder with video. Excited , disappointed , then back to Excitement & Content !
Very easy to use right out of box . Bought this to record music video for YouTube . Camera kept freezing almost immediately . Called Zoom Customer Service . Not much help . It turned out to be a defective SD card that came with the Zoom . I bought a new SD card and recorder has worked perfect since . I am very happy now .

great thing for the musician
easy to operate,it turns on strait away and therefore i can record strait away. lovely size i can take it anywhere. now there is a problem when i transfare a high resolution video to my computer it plays it as slow frames (like still pictures). any sugestions?
