    Hard TO Be A Woman

    When Tammy Wynette passed away in 1998 my band and I put together a 90 minute 25 songs show titled "Hard To Be A Woman" Robin Right's Tribute to Tammy Wynette. The show included 5 of the duets she sang with George Jones. My lead guitar player was my George Jones in the show. He was and still is a professor of guitar at Berkley College of Music in Boston. I started performing professionally in 1977 in Kentucky where I was born. Then moved to Virginia and finally to Massachusetts in 1978. After nearly 40 years of performing this tribute show all over the United States, Europe and Australia, recording 5 CD's, hosting a benefit to raise money for Jack Blanchard and Misty Morgan, singing the National Anthem 5 times for the New England Patriots, I finally retired in 2011 I performed the ...

    Disappointing Biography

    Autobiographies, in general, can be a chance for celebrities to polish their own apples. "Stand by Your Man" by Tammy Wynette is no exception. The author finds fault with everyone but herself. Halfway through the book - which ONLY goes to her marriage to husband No. 4 - I gave up.
