    Velvet underground with Nico

    Iconic Andy Warhol picture. Lou Reed went onto a successful solo career. This album ranked in the top 25 by Rolling Stone magazine's 500 greatest albums of all time 2012.

    I have heard this record described as the Holy Grail. Rock N Rollers.. record collectors.. 60's types avant types etc. Everyone ends up here sometime or another. Back in the seventies this was certainly not my favorite, but as time passes, this holds up better than 95% of all the records I've ever heard, in any genre. This edition has the reviews from L.A. Weekly etc on the sleeve, and the production retains all the qualities of the original LP.. at least as well as I can remember them. 'Run,Run,Run' never did much for me, but every other song is a true classic. And of course, ou can read all about NiCO and LOU elsewhere.

    One of the greatest albums ever

    This one was in my wishlist for many years and finally I have it. I am happy. This is really fantastic especially when I think about its release year. Many bands admit the influence of this band and this particular album.
