Dietrich and Milland don't strike many sparks, but Marlene's alluringly exotic. A former British spy (Milland) receives a set of gold earrings in the mail and recalls his wartime journey across Germany disguised as a Gypsy by a beautiful Gypsy woman.     Sub-par.

    The movie for it's time is very good. The DVD wasn't produced well, There are no options at the beginning, it just goes right into the movie.

    This is an excellent movie

    The way the movie is layed out is great. The wagon done in such great detail. Being a carnival worker years ago, this brought back memories. It was nothing like with the wagons, wehad semi's, but the traveling part.I enjoy older movies. My boyfriend turned me on to this movie and it reminds me a lot o f our relationship.
