I was in the video rental business from 1981-2003. I had this series in my hands several times, but at the time television series rentals were not a good investment. I never bought it for the stores. As years went by, I wanted the series for my personal entertainment but the price grew double and then some from what I could buy it at the time. While browsing the series I noticed this particular set and the return policy was fair. I bought it and actually did test all the discs. They were in immaculate condition. Now I have an entire series to enjoy at my leisure whether it takes a few years or not. Brought back some good memories with the bonus disc cross over with Law & Order and directions on which disc to complete the two part series. Growing up in Baltimore, where this series was filmed, made it all the more fun to watch. Having been in Maryland law enforcement for the last 20 years, made it even better the second time around! This show is definitive proof that cop shows don't have to be checkered with gratuitous profanity to be incredible!! Hats off to Director, Barry Levinson!!!
