Cheetah Girls 2 - Two Bubble Gummy for you???
My three year daughter and six year old son LOVE Disney movies and soundtracks. They enjoyed the first Cheetah Girls movie which is why we purchased that soundtrack - which I can tolerate but is not high on my personal listening choice when the kids are not in the car. When it was announced that CG2 was coming out and that the soundtrack would be available prior to the movie, we purchased it right away. I was expecting the same "bubble gum" type of music with the same "Grrrwl Power" message as the original movie's soundtrack. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the same girl power message and talk about friendship is there but they added a twist of Spanish inspired music and beats. This CD is a great choice for everyone. Adults will love it, too. The music is the soundtrack taken from the movie Cheetah Girls 2. There are songs in both Spanish and English. The quartet Cheetah Girls, [Galleria,(Raven-Symone), Chanel,(Adrienne Bailon),Dorinda,(Sabrina Bryan) and Aquanette,(Kiely Williams a.k.a Aqua), really outdo themselves in these Cheetah Girls 2nd movie and soundtracks. Their guest star- Belinda- who plays Marisol in the movie also is kicking. She sings Why Wait, Dance with Me with Drew Seely, Amigas Cheetahs and A La Nanita Nana with the Cheetah Girls. My favorite song is It's Over, performed by the Cheetah Girls. This is a great song that makes the girls really think about the importance of their friendship, how they messed up and how they miss what they had ... This CD is a great choice for everyone. I didn't dislike anything really, I am a pretty satisfied costumer, I decided to buy this item because I loved the movie it was awesome and included very AWESOME songs by the Cheetah Girls, This wonderful CD includes: 1.The Party's Just Begun 2.Strut 3.Dance With Me 4.Why Wait 5.A La Nanita Nana 6.Do Your Own Thing 7.It's Over 8.Step Up 9.Amigas Cheetahs 10.Cherish The Moment 11.Cheetah Sisters (Barcelone Mix) 12.Everyone's A Star 13.It's Gonna Be Alright Only 9 of these songs were played in the movie. I purchased this for my daughter, who is 10 years old, for Christmas since she is dancing to one of the songs from the CD this year in her dance recital. The girls we refer to as tweens love the Cheetah Girls and the music is so appropriate for that age. I highly recommend it for girls who love to sing and dance.
