      Disappointed when I had to modify the tool for the kit

      For some unknown reason this part was not made specifically for my Craftsman ratchet. Yes, the numbers in the handle was the same as advertised but it did not properly fit. I had to modify the ratchet to accept the part used to change direction of operation. Disappointed when all of the pieces of the ratchet kit did not fit the handle of the tool. Also, noted this kit was a refurbished kit.

      Good fit on a complete set of repair parts

      Great repair kit to put new life in the old ratchet. These are OEM repair parts so as long as you have the ratchet part number and it matches the service kit number you are good to go. Repair is easy, make sure all the scrap parts out of the ratchet clean the handle out before new parts put in. A little light oil helps. Grease collects dirt - light oil or graphite spray only.

      Sort of works

      Some of the parts did not fit even though I have the right ratchet number. I was able to use the clicker, and the ratchet seems to work with the other old parts. You need 3 or 4 hands to get it put back together.

      Centerline of the reversing lever and pawl would not fit in Ratchet.

      I am not satisfied with the kit. The replacement parts did NOT fit. The centerline of the reversing lever and pawl were not the same and did not fit into the ratchet handle. That's a ZERO (0) stars from this customer.
