Goldfinger (DVD, 1997)
Goldfinger was the movie that introduced practically everyone to James Bond. It may have been the third Bond movie, but many saw this one first, then the other two. In this movie, Bond finds himself up against Auric Godldfinger, a super wealthy businessman, Jeweler, and international gold smuggler. He is illegally moving large amounts of gold and not paying taxes. Bond is to find out how and why. As he begins his usual harassment of Goldfinger, a girl winds up dead in Bond's bed, covered in gold paint. This warning did not go unnoticed by Bond. In tracking Goldfinger he discovers the way that he smuggles his gold. Virtually all of the coachwork of his Rolls Royce was 24K gold. Bond is captured by Goldfinger and just as he is to be killed, he blurts out "Operation Grand Slam". Goldfinger ... Goldfinger was the movie that introduced practically everyone to James Bond. Goldfinger, along with his driver and personal Korean killer "Oddjob", and his flying circus pilots led by Pussy Galore, his personal pilot, sets his plan into motion. Bond must overcome all of this.

Sean Connery is the BEST James Bond 007!
Why did I get this movie other than Sean Connery is one of the BEST Actors around?! I always loved 007 movies but the ones with Sean Connery is definately the BEST ONES!All of them are great but the ones with Sean Connery are the best to watch! I also recommend to go along with Goldfinger is You Only Live Twice & On Her Majestys Secret Service! And even though On Her Majestys Secret Service doesnt have Sean Connery as 007~another actor by the name of George Lozenby~who by the way does an EXCELLENT job as 007~too bad he only did one James Bond movie-he had a lot of potential for the part!Why did I get this movie other than Sean Connery is one of the BEST Actors around?! It's so great to see the things now that we were amazed at when this picture first came out. I love Sean Connery and the antics and predicaments he gets into.I think this was one of his better movies at that time.'Goldfinger' was almost a household name and even kids wanted to be 'agent 007' and fight with Goldfinger. There's lots of action and plenty of lovely scenery.
