  • Long Live Rock & Roll

It's OK, but the entertainers portrayed don't do any of their #1 hits. Like "Why do fools fall in love" by Frankie Lymon. They do a song called "Not a teenage delinquent", although Lymon died of a herion overdose, and his back-ups were "The Teenagers". I bought it because, at 60 yrs old, and an occasional ringing in my right ear, I grew up in LA, Calif listening to Doo-Wop and all the other oldies groups on an AM transistor radio with an earphone all day, and even went to sleep with it playing in my ear, plus I like collecting these types of DVD's cause the groups usually don't do a #1 song. I have most of those already. Besides, any of the "Golden Oldie" groups and singers are just that, Golden Oldies. So if you remember the "good ole days", I recommend it.

  • Classic songs

Great classic movie brings back lots of great entertainers

  • Dud

This DVD looks like a transfer from an old VHS, or a video that's been copied too many times. The earlier version I have, in storage, was much better: sound and image. I would not recommend this particular version.
