Excellent radio for the price.
This is an excellent radio for the price. It has great sound even playing thru some low quality speakers. The screen does become hard to read in bright sunlight but all the radios with this type of screen have the same issue. Controls are a little confusing to navigate, but once you get thru the learning curve it is not that difficult. Only gripe I have is the fact this radio has a different connector than the i year old Kenwood that i removed. Made a 1/2 hour job into a 3 hour job.This is an excellent radio for the price. I have purchased 2 of these and also its next gen predecessor and I can say that this unit is almost better than its next gen counterpart. I say this because some features in the new er units are hard to find in the control panel and some other seem to be missing.
