Have had Uniden for several years but the 1 I have now is on it's last legs. Thought another brand might be good. It wasn't. Didn't have a headset jack among other things. I didn't like this doesn't mean others won't.

Phone Replacement
My old phone had the power transformer wire break, so rather than attempting to splice it back together, I decided on another phone. Since I had an older VTech, I found a newer version. The price was right, as always, and shipment was quicker than expected. It's almost always the same when I make a purchase through eBay. The new phone works well, except it doesn't have the built-in answering machine my old model had. Fits in your Pocket
I wanted only portable handsets for the convenience of moving across the Hall or walking the hallway in my high rise bldg. The range is more than sufficient. The phones are lightweight and easy to use. I make good use of the speaker on the phones. I am certain a long time from now, when needed, I will purchase another V-tech.

I bought this phone mainly for its speakerphone, for being placed on Hold for long periods of time, and it works extremely well with an added speakerphone volume adjustment and good sound quality. Although an extremely invaluable added bonus is the Intercom button, of which I use to page other household members in our large mansion, saving long time-consuming stairclimbs and so forth. You simply press Intercom, and another V-tech CS6719-16 phone will ring until that person on the other side of the house picks it up like they were answering a phone call. This feature also works to transfer the call to another CS6719-16 phone in the house, in case you've answered the phone, and it isn't for you, then you can press intercom until that person whom the phone was for, picks up the phone. It ...
