A cult horror favorite from Japan, BIO ZOMBIE takes the time tested formulas of pitting hapless shopping mall denizens against a horde of monstrous zombies and manages to put a fresh twist on the ensuing comedy, suspense, and gore. Woody and Bee are the two young mall clerks who inadvertently raise the army of the undead when they hit a pedestrian who was a former employee of a rather unsavory biochemical company. When the boys load his corpse in the trunk and take him to work, the chemicals in his bodies turn him into one of the living dead, and it isn't long before he has infected other shoppers at the mall, leaving Woody and Bee to defend themselves against an ever growing army.

Never Heard of It? And You Call Yourself a Zombie Fan?!
A few years ago I was feeling down. Seemed like I had seen all the zombie movies out there - at least all the good ones. Then I found Asian horror and I was happy again! Join me in rejoicing at the thought of more zombie movies - not you cup of tea? Then scram! Just kidding, especially with Bio Zombie. Bio Zombie is the story of two slackers who sell dvds in a small store at a mall. While driving to the mall they hit a man and decide they should take the guy with them. What they do not seem to notice is that the guy is infected with toxic soda - or something like it, have you ever seen a good zombie movie explain anything? The mall closes and our two heroes are trapped with their new zombie friend. Don't ask me where the other people came from but the zombie keeps finding people to ... Also you never know who will get snacked on next! Zombie fans MUST watch this movie! I bought it for myself and then went and bought it for my brother who collect horror dvds. I can't wait to mail it to him (:

nowhere near a high quality film. but still fun to see!

the Chinese title is Sun faa sau si Soft drinks turn people into zombies-- movie zombies, of course, and while the budgets are low, the actions sometimes more humor than horror, it actually does better than a lot of movies that had bagel and cream cheese budgets bigger than its total budget. Not really that frightening, but a good example of zombie cheapies.
