Bomberman = obsessive.
One of the funnest games EVER, Bomberman becomes an obsession from the first time you play it. It's an endless challenge, hilarious, and requires the use of your noggin, more so than anything else. Part puzzle, part action, always fun, Bomberman is a true GEM of the NES library, and a MUST have. When you start to get your powerups, you think... oh, this will make it easier. Not a chance. Now, more thought has to be used to use them safely, and for maximun potential! You'll find yourself thinking about Bomberman... at work, in the car, in the supermarket, on a date, whatever you're doing. There's only a handful of games which have this power, like Tetris or the Donkey Kong for the Gameboy, with all of those crazy levels. fun game to play with many levels. not like the games they have today. I always felt that these kind of games have the charm that the new ones of today just do not have.

Reminder of college.
I have great memories of playing Super Bomberman back in college with a group of friends. It was really cool to experience the original single player game that started it all. This game is great in its own right.

Most Bomberman games also feature a multiplayer mode, where other Bombermen act as opponents, and the last one standing is the winner. In this mode, powerups are plentiful. Although most games in the Bomberman series use the same type of maze-based levels established by the original game, some are Zelda-like adventure games, Mario-like platformers, Tetris-like puzzle games, and kart racers.
