KOTOR Vol. 1- Commencement
Dark Horse’s visit back to the KOTOR universe is finally here. I was really looking forward to when Dark Horse Comics would venture back almost 4,000 years before Luke Skywalker would destroy the Death Star in that fateful battle above Yavin 4. I can tell that this graphic novel series is going to be great especially since Brian Ching is doing the art work & the writing is being done by John Jackson Miller. The series is set during the era of the smash-hit videogames ‘Knights of the Old Republic’. While you may see some familiar faces from the games (Master Vandar in volume #1) most are all-new characters that seamlessly fit into this era. The different comedic scenes between Zayne, Gryph, Jarael & Camper are wonderful distractions from the dark but refreshing story ... Dark Horse’s visit back to the KOTOR universe is finally here. Awesome!
The content in this comic book is by far better then the current marvel run on Star Wars and the latest Disney produced Star Wars movies. I definitely recommend you read this series and study the plot of the video game it was based off from the early 2000s.
