I'm a terrible cook, I can cook anything in a water bathe swirling heating gadget and never burn anything. Amazing! This is the old model, more powerful sets deeper in water, cleanable, not like the new ones, that you just have to throw aay. Thank You. Older is better when it comes to this brand

    Love my Cooker Pro

    This Pro moves a lot of water which is great BUT the unit draws a lot of amperage so much so that when I open the fridge the interior light pulse flickers. It's on a 20amp breaker. The Pro is more a commercial-ish application. If you're doing big quantities (sous vide) then this is unit the to use. I'll be getting the "Precision Cooker" for smaller quantities here at home. The Anovo Cooker Pro is fast and accurate at reaching and holding the set temperature. Overall I like my Pro but the power draw is the reason for the 4 star.

    Works perfectly

    Easy to use, accurate and a must have for so many new options in the kitchen. For steaks, fish and even vegetables, it’s a must have. Worth the money all day long. Biggest advantage is it will hold the temperature perfectly until you are ready to serve the side dishes hot, so you can time your meals with precision. Lots of easy recipes for the Sous Vide online. It’s pretty much fool proof. Shop online for better prices, but definitely get one to add to your kitchen! You will look like a pro even if your skills aren’t there yet!

    Great sous vide unit - but it's expensive.

    The Anova Wifi Precision Coooker Pro AN600-US00 works like a dream. I usually start with hot tap water when I use it so it gets the water to the selected temperature within a minute or two and keeps it there throughout the cooking process. The food will be held at that temperature until you change it. This is a very well built kitchen tool. That said, it does have some limitations. The food cooked by this method depends upon its own flavor and that of whatever you pack in the bag with it. So, while it will perfectly slow cook a brisket, you won't get that true "slow smoked" flavor that only an afternoon on the smoker will provide. The second drawback is the price. These are expensive kitchen tools that do a very good job of slow cooking your food; but, you could get similar but ...

    LOVE IT!! So many uses!

    Super precise temperatures, brings water to temp up very fast. Easy to clean. So many uses!! I use it to cook meats and vegetables, and also for pasteurizing my goat milk. You can make cheese and yogurt using this as well. This is my 3rd Anova sous vide cooker and my favorite to date.
