Unfortunately after installing the board, I was greeted upon powering it up I was greeted with a password required before it would load the O/S. Within the hour after notifying the seller, Oscar returned my call. A refund was issued quickly. Having been in the same business things happen. Oscar was surprised this board made it thru inspection. If the display was damaged this is an odd system impossible to stand alone test. No biggie.

    Pretty easy install, works perfectly

    Physical installation of the adapter into the laptop was easy, just follow the uTube video. IT was a bit harder to find the correct device driver to get the wireless to start working. There are 2 different adapters for wireless and it took some searching to find the correct device driver. Perhaps if you left a link to it, that would have sped the install up for me.

    Nice Upgrade

    Used this to upgrade the WLAN on my Dell 1545 laptop. I now have Bluetooth capability and can use the 5G internet from my mobile internet provider. All you need to do is download the drivers and my laptop automatically did that when I rebooted after installation. Easy installation and nice upgrade!

    Upgrade to a Wifi5300

    The card functions as expected, it has replaced an older version Intel WiFi 5300. An added bonus that made me select this card was the builtin Bluetooth support in addition to WiFi.

    Add Bluetooth for cheap

    If your laptop did not come with Bluetooth this is a quick fix. Simply remover the bottom cover, carefully remove the existing WiFi card and install this WiFi and Bluetooth card. After you install the drivers you ate done. A 10 minute task costing about $10.
