Almost explores the reality of loving people leaving Jesus behind out of a misunderstanding of His divine nature. Today, fewer people are attending organized church services. For many believers, there is a void in living a life for God. Many people seek to get closer to God by intensifying scriptural adherence, but something is still lacking. Despite their performance, they feel a void. There is a fulfillment in our relationship with Jesus that goes beyond adherence. To experience Jesus more fully, we must be willing to grab hold of His nature. The author introduces us to The Four Blends of Divine Nature® framework to illustrate the nature of the Lord. Through these four quadrants, the author explains God's character and our relationship with Him in that context. Additionally, the author introduces seven characteristics to capture the essence of each blend. It's difficult to put into words where religion goes awry in our relationship with God. The author applies a structured approach to the topic, resulting in a uniquely clear and concise response. The chapter on the shift tackles how incongruence is part of God's nature. God designed us to have a dynamic, personal relationship with Him. The goal of this book is two-fold. It's to answer the question: am I leaving God behind by living for Him, at the expense of His nature? And it's to awaken the reader into having a dynamic, personal relationship with a personal and intimate God.
